PG Calc was founded in 1985 in Cambridge, MA by Gary Pforzheimer with colleagues from Harvard College and the Harvard University Planned Giving Office. Our first software offering, Planned Giving Manager, and the intelligence and responsiveness of our team quickly earned PG Calc a reputation for excellence.

In the almost 25 years since then, the company has benefited from the addition of outstanding staff members who bring invaluable experience from their prior work as fundraisers, gift planners, managers, trust officers, trust administrators, and attorneys in private practice.

Today, PG Calc partners with over 5,000 clients working at charitable organizations of every size and description in all 50 states. Our clients also include hundreds of consultants and for-profit organizations working in the charitable gift planning community.
Our expertise in gift administration is widely recognized. We currently administer 90 pooled income funds and over 11,000 gift annuities for charitable and for-profit clients alike.
