This one-day course introduces students to fundamental basic gift administration practices and how to use the features in GiftWrap to meet your organization's obligations to donors and beneficiaries. You will learn the best practices for data entry to help meet the needs of your development, business and finance offices.

Who can benefit from this class?

  • Development professionals responsible for gift administration, budget, planned gift marketing, analysis of current gifts and expectancies
  • Administrative staff responsible for entering, updating and maintenance of donor and gift data, payment production, tax forms, and other reports associated with gift administration

Topics Covered:

This session focuses on key organization set-up, data integrity, security, and data entry elements specific to gift annuities as well as other planned gifts. Students will learn the "what and why" for each data field in the software.

  • Entering & updating people, addresses, and gifts

  • Using the help system
  • Person and gift reports

Schedule for the Day

  • The session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Two 15 minute breaks, morning and afternoon with an hour for lunch on your own at noon.
  • Continental breakfast will be provided before the start of the session and refreshments during breaks.
  • Please be in the room by 8:30 a.m. so that the session may begin on time.
