GiftWrap 4.0 is a new Web-based version of GiftWrap, our industry-leading gift administration software. Existing users will find advantages to this upgrade in its achitecture as well as its  enhanced usability, flexibility, and power. GiftWrap 4.0 preserves all existing features and functionality – such as detailed tracking of information, payment processing, and tax filing, and incorporates many new and enhanced features, all of which are intended to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of your planned gift administration program.

GiftWrap 4.0’s Web-based architecture is among its most notable enhancements. GiftWrap 4.0 will effectively eliminate installation costs, upgrade costs, and maintenance costs for our clients, as well as the need to purchase hardware to support the application. As a result, GiftWrap 4.0 will make only minimal demands on your IT staff's time. And, with GiftWrap 4.0, you and your IT staff won’t have to worry about disaster recovery, backup procedures, or database corruption.  PG Calc will address these maintenance issues, as well as software updates, automatically and behind-the-scenes. Reduced costs and automatic access to the most up-to-date functionality; these are two hallmarks of GiftWrap 4.0.

From a data hosting perspective, we contract with one of the nation’s top web hosting providers, Rackspace, who maintains a sophisticated, high-capacity infrastructure with state of the art monitoring, full data encryption, and advanced virus protection for maximum security. They have full SAS 70 Type II certification and work with many major financial institutions. Within the application itself, your data will not interact with anyone else’s data –GiftWrap’s effective partitioning of business functions from application administration functions secures your data from unauthorized access.  And no unwanted eyes will be able to view your data thanks to two levels of data encryption, one at the database level, and the second on selected fields to ensure an even higher standard of privacy for selected information. Finally, access control is designed and enforced by role and user.

GiftWrap 4.0 Optional Modules
GiftWrap 4.0 has five optional modules. Clients will have the opportunity to select which they want to integrate into their programs, and those that opt to adopt new modules at the time of migration will have their setup fees waived.

Installation Options
PG Calc makes GiftWrap 4.0 available as a hosted application with pages served securely over the public Internet for those customers who want to relieve themselves of the cost and effort required to run the GiftWrap 4.0 application.  GiftWrap 4.0 is also available as an enterprise application for customers who want to manage the application themselves.  Whether hosted or enterprise, GiftWrap 4.0 provides the same comprehensive set of planned gift administration tools, calculations, and reports.

As provider of the hosted GiftWrap 4.0 implementation, PG Calc delivers the following services:

GiftWrap 4.0 Enterprise
For those customers requiring an on-premise implementation, GiftWrap 4.0 can be deployed behind an organization’s firewall on a corporate network.  Enterprise customers will provide the hosting environment, hardware, security, and IT support services necessary for the operation of the GiftWrap 4.0 application.  PG Calc will assist in the initial installation of the application, and will provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of the application while it is in operation on the customer’s network.
