At PG Calc, this web site takes every precaution to protect our user’s information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, their information is protected as stated above, both online as well as off-line. Generally, information is requested when asked to register before subscribing to e-mail newsletters or when requesting information about or purchasing PG Calc products and services. All user information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices to employees, software specialists, and network administrators who need the information to perform a specific job. Personal information submitted while using our GiftCalcs, GiftStory, or GiftGuide online products can also be available to the subscribing charity or other client. Typically, this information is gathered through a link on the charity’s web site, or by logging into the product.
We occasionally contract with other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including mailing and delivering purchases, sending postal mail and processing event registration. We only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. These companies do not retain, share, store or use the personally identifiable information that they receive from PG Calc for any other purposes.
PG Calc adheres to generally accepted industry standards to protect this information, both during transmission and once we receive it. These standards include the use of leading hardware and software applications. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
