Effective August 1, 2007, Minnesota changed from an exempt state requiring notification to an exempt state with no notification required.

Twenty-eight states require a filing with a state agency with respect to regulation governing issuance of gift annuities. Let our Planned Giving Services division streamline the state compliance process for your organization!

Additional Information

Preparing the information for state registration takes about a month. Review and approval of applications by state insurance commissions may take from one to six months, although California may take somewhat longer.
