Success is in the Details: Operating an Effective Gift Annuity Program

This seminar is intended for organizations that want to make the most of their gift annuity program. This is a joint presentation by two of the most recognized experts in the planned giving field, Frank Minton, President of PG Calc’s Planned Giving Services Division and Jeff Lydenberg, Vice President of PG Calc Incorporated.

Training Location Details

In order to operate a successful gift annuity program it is critical to understand how the gift vehicle works. This seminar will focus on the following topics:

  • How gift annuity rates are set
  • Gift annuity deductions,
  • Taxation of gift annuities,
  • Advanced planning with gift annuities
  • Variables that affect gift annuity calculations.
  • How to staff and structure your gift annuity effort
  • State and federal regulation
  • Administering your gift annuities once they are closed

If you are looking to take your program to the next level or if gift annuities are new to your organization, this seminar is for you. There will be plenty of time for questions and case studies.

Computers are not required for this seminar.

Schedule for the Day

  • The session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Two 15 minute breaks, morning and afternoon with an hour for lunch on your own at noon.
  • Continental breakfast will be provided before the start of the session and refreshments during breaks.
  • Please be in the room by 8:30 a.m. so that the session may begin on time.

  • The fee for this special seminar is $335 for the first person from an organization.
  • For each additional person from the same organization, the fee is $265.
