Meryl Cosentino

Meryl R. Cosentino, J.D. has more than 30 years of estate and gift planning experience, and is currently the Assistant Vice President of Gift Planning, Trusts and Estates at New York University. Meryl's career in Gift Planning has included work at The Nature Conservancy, St. Francis Hospital, and Stony Brook University. Prior to transitioning to Gift Planning, Meryl was a practicing attorney focusing on Special Education and Trusts & Estates. Meryl also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn.

Meryl completed a three-year term on the Board of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), was the Chair of the CGP National Gift Planning Conference, and is a President Emeritus of the NYC Gift Planning Council. Meryl is the recipient of the 2025 Cloughy Distinguished Service Award presented by PPGGNY.
