Over the years, PG Calc’s consultants have seen planned gifts that range from routine to complex to inane.  This session will feature a series of case studies based on actual gift scenarios our consultants have confronted.  The cases will sensitize you to warning signs that a donor wants to make a deal, not a gift.  Other cases will cover donor objectives that were achieved with creative gift plans that don’t fit the typical patterns.  And some of the cases will review gifts that seemed impossible or ridiculous to accomplish, but happened anyway.  Finally, we’ll cover gifts that looked attractive at first, but that the would-be recipients found good reason to walk away from.
